Discussions about audio drama adaptations of The Hardy Boys have been going on in our group as far back as 2017. But it wasn't until the original books entered the pubic domain that we were able to make actual plans to undertake the project.

01/01/2023 - The Tower Treasure enters the public domain.

07/04/2023 - Serious discussions begin about an audio drama adaptation.

07/05/2023 - Craig Hart steps up as lead writer and director.

07/17/2023 - J.D. Sutter, producer, and Craig Hart, lead writer/director meet to discuss our approach to the project.

07/17/2023 - Our writing team is assembled.

08/10/2023 - The writers meet to plan out the scripting process.

08/17/2023 - Scripting begins.

05/28/2024 - First draft of the script completed.

09/09/2024 - Public announcement of the project.

09/15/2024 - Draft 4 of the script is completed. (We thought this was the final draft, but there would be one more.)

09/25/2024 - Writing team announcement.

​09/30/2024 - Casting begins.

01/21/2025 - Actors for the Hardy family announced.

01/26/2025 - One final amendment to the script was completed.

01/30/2025 - Full cast finalized.

02/03/2025 - Cast List published.

02/13/2025 - First recording session.

03/13/2025 - Recording for Frank and Joe is wrapped.

04/08/2025 - Our project is featured on the Hardy and Drew Mysteries blog.

04/21/2025 - J.D. Sutter, producer, and Marc Mulcahy, lead composer meet to set the plan for the music.

05/09/2025 - Recording for the entire cast is completed.
